Digital Dentistry (CEREC CAD CAM)
Cerec and Cad-Cam technologies are used in our clinic.
In the past, we had to take measurements while making prosthetic teeth to our patients and we were sending these measurements to dental technicians, they were making the teeth with fine hand work and sending them to us, we do this application nowadays, but also with CAD-CAM technology, we measure the teeth with CAM (advanced camera technology) and With CAD (computerized scrapers technology), we manufacture prosthetic teeth and even some structures such as surgical guides and night plates.
CAD-CAM (Computer Aided Design - Computer Aided Manufacturing), means computer-aided design - computer-aided manufacturing. The CEREC system, is a scanning, design and production device developed for dentistry. CEREC is one of the leading organizations in the world in this regard. It is one of the most important application areas of digital dentistry.
The workflow in the CEREC system starts with the intraoral scanner, which is the clinical leg of the system. It has great advantages over traditional impression methods. In addition to being used comfortably in patients with nausea reflex, detail sensitivity is high, and the margin of error is much lower than conventional measurements.
The image obtained after scanning is processed in a computer environment in the laboratory and sent to the precision micro milling machine. With this method, restorative parts such as inlays and onlays, substructures for crowns and bridges, dental laminates scraped from reinforced porcelain blocks can be produced from materials that are difficult to work with such as glass ceramics, zirconium, e-max with high aesthetic and biocompatibility.
Another advantage of the CEREC Cad Cam system is that it significantly shortens the treatment time. In the digital system, which operates with high sensitivity and low error, operations can be performed in a single session.

High-precision milling and sintering devices in the laboratory allow more successful treatments than conventional methods.
