All on four treatment is a treatment performed by placing all fixed teeth on 4 implants in cases where the lower or upper jaw is completely edentulous.
In this treatment, if the conditions are suitable, tooth extraction, dental implants and temporary fixed denture teeth are performed on the same day. The difference with traditional full jaw implant treatments is the number of implants used, their length and the angle of insertion.
Two implants are placed at right angles in the front part of the jaw, and 2 long implants in the back part at an angle of 45 degrees. With this angulation, traditional treatments and prostheses that require 6-8 implants are supported with 4 implants.
The need for sinus lift and bone grafting procedures, which should be performed in patients with insufficient bone in the posterior region of the jaw, also disappears. This further reduces the treatment costs compared to traditional full jaw implant treatment.
